"Our hero! Starting off on our 4 week road trip to the Yukon from Vancouver and that blasted “check engine “ comes on. To make a long story short Shane went well above and beyond (including starting work at 6am to do our job) on the Thursday before the May long weekend to diagnose, clearly explain and get us a new transmission installed by 5pm on the Friday! I can't speak highly enough about the people at Trans-A-Matic!! After being told by the local car dealership, that I needed a transmission rebuild, I talked to Shane, and he told me a rebuild would be around $7000. I then travelled to Prince George to get his expert opinion. Much to my surprise, instead of costing me $7000, it cost me $72.00!! After doing a diagnosis of my truck, he found the actual problem, and recommended I not do anything to the transmission! Shane and his crew were very honest and a pleasure to deal with, and I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone having transmission issues in the north west!!

Just traveling thru BC and experienced transmission problems, they took me in for a diagnosis even they’re booked solid, where able to fix it temporarily. Amazing folks, highly recommended.
